Exploring Norway's Stunning Route Fv520 Saudafjellet Pass

We had a nice road trip over Saudafjellet on an early autumn day.

We drove route Fv520 from Sauda to Røldal. The road is a mountain pass and very exposed to the weather even in summer. We were lucky with the weather on this September day when we drove over this beautiful mountain pass.
Saudafjellet pass is one of 18 National Tourist Roads in Norway that has been given official status where extra investment must be made to get an infrastructure that suits the tourism industry and travelers along these roads.
