Chunky Knitted Cowl Tutorial | Continental Knitting Style | Beginner Level Knit Project

This beginner's tutorial will show you how to knit a chunky modern cowl using the continental style of knitting. We'll go over each step and take a close look at how I keep my edges even. This project was inspired by a cowl that Claire wears in the first season of the series "Outlander".

Skills required: Cast on, knit stitch, bind off, sew seams, weaving in ends

Yarn: Wool Ease Thick and Quick in "Barley" by Lion Brand Yarns (or any "Super Bulky" weight yarn)

Knitting Needles: 25mm or 50 (U.S.)
