Dynasty Warriors 8: XL CE - Lu Bu Story Mode 6-IF - Invasion of Xu Province (Ultimate)

Since Liu Bei helped us at Dingtao, Lu Bu comes to help him at Xu Province. Diaochan reveals she was the one that got Liu Bei to help and rejoins Lu Bu's army. Unfortunately Lu Bu seems to have a "only one female" rule so Lingqi doesn't appear at all in the hypothetical stages. She does however have unique dialogue in several of the stages if you play her there in free mode. The only reason I can think they left her out is Koei didn't want to explain how Lu Bu would have a wife and Diaochan as a concubine, since Lingqi isn't Diaochan's daughter. I'd have personally liked to see how they react to each other, but oh well.

This is very similar to the Shu Xu Province stage, except it doesn't go wrong at the end. I rather like Lu Bu in the hypothetical path, really feels reliable and like he's in charge rather than his usual "smash everything with extreme prejudice" self. Zhang Liao seems happier to be able to fight alongside Guan Yu now too, since they're not planning to deceive them later.
