As someone who is on his second Z900rs , and having bought a four cylinder Z650F3 new, in the early eighties, I have been hoping to try the new Z650 rs twin for a while . With my SE in for first service at Greenham Kawasaki, I had the perfect opportunity to take one for a ride.
What did I think of the engine , chassis, the technology fitted and the aesthetics and finish ? How did I get on with riding it and , if I was spending this sort of money on a new bike, would it be my choice?
