The Constitution We Want Campaign

Explore the journey of The Constitution We Want Campaign, where we travelled across regions and communities to hear directly from the citizens about their vision for a new constitution. In the first phase, we visited Kiang Kaif (Lower River Region), Brufut (West Coast Region), and Jewshwang (KMC) to engage in meaningful conversations with residents about their views and concerns regarding the 2020 draft constitution.

In the second phase, we took a deeper dive into the heart of our communities, visiting bustling marketplaces, busy bus stops, and often-overlooked ghettos. These are places that play a crucial yet underrated role in nation-building. Through these interactions, we gathered diverse perspectives and powerful stories that highlight the importance of a constitution that truly represents all voices.
