My visit this time was in 2019 where I was very curious to try the Legendary Oxtail Soup from Hotel Borobudur until I continued to stay at this hotel. This hotel has an area of 9.5 hectares so it is very spacious in the middle of Jakarta which is the capital of Indonesia. One of the finest luxury 5 star hotels in Jakarta, strategically located in the center of the city. This resort in the city features 23 acres of landscaped tropical gardens. The hotel is a 5 minute drive from the Presidential Palace, and is also close to major sightseeing attractions such as Istiqlal Mosque and Cathedral Church. It is within easy reach of government offices, major business and banking centers, shopping and entertainment areas.
Tourist attractions are minutes away such as National Monument, National Museum of Indonesia, Youth Pledge Museum, Fatahillah Museum Old Town and other attractions around the hotel. Gambir Railway Station is only 3 minutes drive and Soekarno-Hatta International Airport is 35 minutes drive from the hotel.

Junior Suite Room
My room this time is a Junior Suite Room with an area of about 45m2. This room has an interior which in my opinion is a bit old-fashioned but the positive point in this room is the view that directly faces the Monas monument which is an icon of the city of Jakarta. This room has a separate living room and bedroom as well as a bathroom with a bathtub.

Executive Lounge Access
The type of room I chose, of course, allowed me to access the executive lounge which is an elite place in my opinion. Where the interior of this lounge is quite ancient, but this lounge is often used as a meeting place by officials in Indonesia. Incidentally when I arrived there were also several ministers who were holding a meeting. The type of afternoon tea cake provided is not too varied and for the cocktail hour the type of food is also not too varied, but for alcohol there are various types of brands so I think it is quite complete.

Other Facilities
Hotel Borobudur provides a very large and magnificent swimming pool, a large garden and a fantastic basketball court which not every hotel provides this facility. The hotel also provides a fitness center as well as a modern sauna and Jacuzzi because it is located in a new building. Tennis courts are also available in this hotel so in terms of facilities, I can say that this hotel is the best in its class.

Breakfast
The various breakfast menus at this hotel in my opinion are very complete and varied, although in terms of the taste of the food at this hotel, I think it is not good, even the legendary oxtail soup that I tried upon my arrival also tasted ordinary. However, it never hurts for you to try staying at this hotel.
