i just finished his dark materials and i'm utterly crushed
i've been in full denial about the final episode these last few days
and then my messy brain went like : you know what would make this even sadder? edit them with visions of gideon - the perfect heartwrenching song for star-crossed lovers

it's actually been pretty cathartic (just teared up a few minutes ago because I caught little glimpses of pan and kirjava in the background)

not gonna beat the allegations that i'm a hopeless romantic with this one

can't tell if i'm emotional over their ending because i was invested or if i'm invested because it's doomed? probably a bit of both

it's been ages since i've finished an edit, i'm a bit rusty but hopefully this finds the right people

… on my way to read the books and cry all over again
