God is spirit. He is also love. That’s why, love is the fruit of the spirit.

Obedience and forgiveness requires love. We can not keep on forgiving or obeying unless we have agape love. It is the cornerstone of Christianity. Love is perfectly expressed through submission,obedience and forgiveness.

Love fulfills the law. The divine law is the character of God. That is, God does not hate, lie , steal , kill or destroy. He is loving , just and merciful.

Transgression of the law of God is sin. And the wages of sin is eternal death.

The law ( 10 Commandments) summarizes the Bible. The Bible is the word of God. The Word of God is Jesus. The lord spoke words and the universe and all that is in it was created. The word is our GPS ( gospel plan of salvation). In life’s journey, when we go astray, the GPS recalculates and gets us back to our elected destination . Our today’s decision determines our eternal destination.

We all have sinned and have fallen short of the glory of God. As God is righteous and just he has to punish the sinner otherwise he will be a lier. He also has to be loving, forgiving snd merciful at the same time . God solved the riddle or the paradox through Jesus .

He sent His only son to die in our behalf to pay the wages of sin . So God forgave our sin in Jesus as He is merciful and loving .

We all need to abide in Christ . We need to accept Him as our personal saviour . We can do nothing without Him. He is the only saviour . He is the way , the truth and the life. Whoever abides in Christ is a disciple of Christ. Unbelievers will know that we are disciples of Christ when we love each other . Disciples who love each other , will effectively witness to others .

The above points are summarised as ABC. Abide in Christ , Be loving disciple , and commissioned disciple .

ADMIT : you are a sinner . And Repent.
BELIEVE : Jesus died for your sin.
CONFESS: Jesus is your lord.
DEAD to sin
ETERNAL LIFE
