The NUMBER ONE MISTAKE That International Students Make in Canada // Do not make this common mistake

Описание к видео The NUMBER ONE MISTAKE That International Students Make in Canada // Do not make this common mistake

In this video, I'll be discussing the number one mistake that international students make in Canada. Every year, thousands of international students make this mistake when they come to Canada to study. Most of them come here to study and eventually apply for Permanent Residency.

I've seen this time and time again.

International students would spend a huge amount of dollars to come here hoping to become Permanent Residents of Canada. However, there's quite a number of those people who end up going back home to their home country.

The reason? They weren't able to find (or sustain) full-time NOC jobs so their PGWP (post-graduate work permit) expired.

This is the number one mistake that international students make in Canada: not looking or applying for full-time work even before they graduate.

But wait, aren’t you supposed to get your PGWP before looking for work? Technically, yes. But hear me out.

What I mean is that many months before you graduate, you should already be planting the seeds to land your full-time job so that when you graduate, or even before you graduate, you’ll already have a full-time job offer.

Disclaimer: if you want to become a permanent resident through the Federal Skilled Worker (Express Entry) program, you can’t just get any full-time job. It has to be an NOC job that’s skill type 0 or skill level A or B. Check the link below for more information.
