Try it yourself: the adjoint operator in quantum mechanics

Описание к видео Try it yourself: the adjoint operator in quantum mechanics

In this video we go over a series of exercises to understand the mathematical properties of the adjoint operator.

📚The adjoint of an operator describes the action of this operator in the dual space. Adjoint operators play a key role in quantum mechanics, perhaps the most important being that all physical quantities are represented by operators that are equal to their adjoint, called Hermitian operators. In this video we explore some of the mathematical properties of the adjoint operator to become familiar with manipulating operators.
