2020 Super Duty Featuring Chicken Lights - Amber-White Warning Lights Install

This video features a brand new 2020 Super Duty truck with LED chicken lights and an amber-white warning lights package. From the front of this truck, you can see the amber 16" Mini Light Bar on the roof. The Mini Light Bar is mounted on an Acari Drill-Free Mounting Platform. You can also see our Wicked Warnings Auto Flasher Kit strobing the factory white mirror lights and our LED HAW DUO surface-mounted in the fog light bezel. The LED HAW DUO warning lights are pointing sideways and are primarily intended for side-view warning. The LED HAW DUO warning lights are alternating side to side and they are also synchronized to alternate with the TIR-3 lights in the rear.

From the side of the truck, you can see our Thin-X LIN Series warning light mounted within the badge. The Thin-X points backwards at about a 45 degree angle and this mounting location is perfect for side and rear warning. You can also see the TIR-3 mounted under the taillight and facing towards the side. The LED HAW DUO in the front and the TIR-3 lights in the rear are intended to provide a good picture of the size of this truck when they are activated.

We installed 5 chicken lights along the running boards on both sides of the truck. The chicken lights have a few interesting features. The owner of the truck wanted to integrate them into a signal so when the turn signals are active, the chicken lights will flash as indicator lights. When the warning mode is activated, the chicken lights will flash side to side and at night, the chicken lights will steady burn in amber.

Around the back of the truck, we've installed two 15.5 inch Thin-X Strips under the tailgate. We mounted the strip lights using 3m VHB tape and the adhesion promoter.

We used the factory auxiliary switches to control all of the amber-white warning lights throughout this truck.
