The Maydan Technology Center is located at Applied Materials’ Sunnyvale campus in California, and represents the heart of Applied’s innovation engine and technology leadership. The $1 billion center offers a competitive advantage to both Applied and our customers by providing a unique collaboration platform to accelerate cycles of learning and enable faster transitions to new technologies, and reduced risk by identifying strategic inflections in device manufacturing and high value problems early on. The center contains a complete suite of the 300mm wafer fabrication equipment needed to examine and optimize the chip fabrication process.
