Suzuki V-strom 1000 First Ride Impressions | How Does It Compare To The V-strom 650?

In this one I take my first official ride on pavement and some gravel roads my 2014 Suzuki V-strom 1000 and go over my first thoughts and impressions and how it compares to my 09 V-strom 650 that I've owned and ridden for the past year and a half. I go over some of the things I really like about the V-strom 1000 and a couple of things that give me initial buyers remorse. 1 was it threw a check engine code for the gear position sensor and 2nd was the idle hammering. With a little research I have or at least I think I fix the code and the idle hammering is nothing to be concerned about. To me the 1000 is an all around better bike but the 650 has treated me well. So if you're in the market for a big adventure motorcycle that won't break the bank the V-strom 1000 might fit the bill but you can't go wrong with the 650 either.
