Ocean Falls BC, Canada:

A beautiful town hidden in the mountains, only accessible by boat.
At one point, had 4,000 residents. It was abandoned in the
1980's and is now a ghost town (other then a few residents).

We went into a few of the abandoned buildings;
a hotel, a school, and a short term living center, which had
6 floors and about 250 rooms, a lot of which still had items
left in them.
