Banjo Ukulele Easy Method For Kids & Others with Billie Feather

Billie Feather is an artist in residence and pediatric music teacher at Duke University Hospital in Durham, North Carolina. In this video she demonstrates an easy method for kids or mentally challenged adults to easily play the banjo ukulele. She tunes the Deering Goodtime banjo ukulele to a non standard tuning - open G tuning (something that would be familiar to 5-string banjo players). The tuning she uses is D,G,B,D. This allows players to strum their first chord without having to fret any of the strings. Watch the video to learn more!
