Apollo5: Invocation by Fraser Wilson

'Invocation' by Fraser Wilson, released on 10th March 2023 on VOCES8 Records.

"Peace; love; tenderness" – this simple mantra, taken from the Quaker Book of Faith and Practice, swirls over a melancholic and meditative sequence of piano chords, played as improvisation by the composer Fraser Wilson, on the title track from Apollo5's new album Invocations. Fraser writes that the message was "shared with me some time ago by dear friends, and has been central to my life ever since. It is simple and repetitive, and such an important message for the world right now."

The studio album Invocations will be released on 10 March 2023 on VOCES8 Records. This clip is taken from LIVE From London: Invocations, the full film of which will be re-broadcast by as part of the Live From London: Easter '23 season.
