Las Lomitas Loop - Best Hikes in Phoenix Series

Join Apollo and I as we hike in Phoenix South Mountain Park on a short 2-mile loop hike - we are starting on the Ranger Trail, connecting to the Las Lomitas loop trail. This is a moderately easy hike through the South Mountain Valley. There are no steep inclines and the trail is mostly sandy, with some rocky areas.
Please be sure to always carry water for yourself and your pets!

This hike was filmed in February 2019, please be advised that AZ does not allow pets on trails when temperatures exceed 100 degrees Fahrenheit. Best times to hike in the Valley is November through April.
