(13 Dec 2017) The Madrid Zoo aquarium has installed a nativity scene in its shark tank.
Two divers from the centre ventured into a shark tank which contained five different types of sharks such as the nurse shark and bull shark.
The cartoon images of the Christ Child, Mary and Joseph and the Three Kings were placed in the centre of tank as the sharks, rays and turtles swam around.
The Zoo has been doing this at the beginning of the holiday season since the aquarium opened in 1996.
One of the divers is the biologist of the tank Pablo Montoto who said that the idea of the presentation is to make the public aware of the need to respect and protect the environment.
