The Blue Bay Marine Park has been proclaimed in 1997 to stop or slow down the degradation of the marine environment. The park is located in the south-eastern part of Mauritius near Mahebourg. Unfortunately part of the reef is dead but the live part allows you to enjoy the magnificent views. Park can be visited on the glass bottom boat, then there is snorkeling time and finally you can, as we did, spend some time on the Cocos island. But remember this is a private island, you can only use the beach.
