My pickup head stopped and jammed breaking the drive chain. The bearing are bad. This is my mid summer repair. Instead of disassembling the whole thing I cut the shaft, as someone had done before me. Unfortunately while processing the video I lost the footage of cutting the shaft with a battery sawzall and welding it back in place using nice angle iron to maintain straightness. I would have deleted the whole thing but this is a second time this has happened on a baler and is likely a common problem. I wanted to make this solution available as the common repair on these balers is knotters.
