Big news from the UK government — the voting age is being lowered to 16! 🇬🇧🗳️

That means if you're 12 or older now, you could be voting in the next general election to help decide who runs the country. While 16- and 17-year-olds in Scotland and Wales can already vote in local and regional elections, this change means they’ll now be able to vote in all UK elections, including general ones.

The move is part of a wider plan to boost democratic participation and give young people a bigger voice in shaping the future. 🗣️✨
