Paula Yates BERATING Kylie Minogue 1992 Interview- Pt 1

This 1992 interview from Londons’ morning show, The Big Breakfast, aired back in 1992. Host Paula Yates interviewed Aussie’ sweetheart and pop star Kylie Minogue and there is clearly no warmth between the two.
1. Paula is giddy and beyond happy to say that Kylie is now single at the start of their Interview . Kylie and Hutchence had just parted ways In 1992.
2. Paula berates Kylie as being known for using boyfriends as “accessories”, especially since Kylie had been with
Michael who Yates called The Love God of All Love Gods!!! Ackward and Insensitive, Yates was relentless. Kylie denied Yates claim and laughed It off making Paula look taztless and full of envy. Remember Yates Is a married woman with Bob Geldoffs daughters at this time.
3. Paula demeaningly asks Kylie “so why dont you think you’ve done good in the states?”!!!!! Kylie easily responded that she was yet to promote In the states.She also maintains a sweet smile and giggles over Paulas lewd questions.Paula remains abrasive and continues with her passive Agressive behavior throughout the entire show.
Kylie appeared unaffected and conducted herself with grace and class the entire time. Paula was harsh and very abrasive, proving her jealousy over Kylie having been with Michael for several years. In this case, Paula proved to be petty and callous, while Kylie was lovely and endearing. I respect both women for different reasons, but Paula was less then professional on this day so my opinion on her has changed a bit. This show was almost as Awkward as the bed Interview Paula and Michael would conduct a few years later.
If only both women knew what lied ahead. Just 2 years later Yates and Hutchence began their 2 year journey together. Some sources say that Paula and Michael were already involved in a 9 year on and off love affair.But by the end of 1997, Michael was gone and both women were left broken hearted. Paulas grief would end her own life three years later.Bob Geldof would formally adopt Tiger Lily where she wanted to be with her 3 sisters.This is a story that Is not easy to tell. All were complex public personalities who had their own Individual lives and problems 💔. If only Michael knew that his suicide would affect so many others In the Years to come.
