These video clips came from my January 2022 Florida Trail section hike through the Big Cypress National Preserve. Big Cypress is in the South Florida section of the Florida Trail. It can be heavily saturated with water at times, forcing you to wade through miles of swamp. Winter is a great time to take this section on as the temperatures are much cooler, the gators and snakes much less active, and the water levels are typically low for this area. Far Out app shows me somewhere near The Black Lagoon, Mile 22.8, NoBo. Apple Maps shows my location as 26.08850 N, 81.03820 W.
