We visited the Orangutan Sanctuary in Sepilok, Sabah, Malaysia to see these incredibly beautiful animals. Sepilok Rehabilitation Centre is around 20km from Sandakan and well worth the visit.

An educational visit to the sanctuary provided us with so much knowledge and the conservation efforts made by Sepilok Rehabilitation Centre in order to keep these incredible creatures thriving.

Malaysia is one of the few countries where Orangutans are still found in the wild. We are in love with Malaysia and all it's diversity.
