Hey kids! Uncle Ben Eller here back with a summer blockbuster lesson on how Eddie Van Halen REALLY played Humans Being, from the Twister soundtrack!

I looked around online and couldn't find any TRULY accurate versions of anyone playing, teaching, or tabbing this majestic intro out, so i decided i would do my part and get one out there.

This is very loosely played, with little variations every time EVH goes through the progression; you can play it without all these tiny little details, but i obsess over stuff like this, so its gotta be right!

First in this video we will talk tone a little bit, because having the right effects settings (ESPECIALLY the delay sound) is essential for making this riff work. I'm using an Amp Factory Marshall JCM800 profile, i've got some detune going on in the Kemper, stereo delay running in Logic Pro X, and i'm using my Suhr Modern White Tiger with the Aldrich pickups in it. So lovely! I really dig this tone, i could play on it all day. Then we will cover the intro, then the verse variation.
