Australian-based gold mining company, Blackham Resources Ltd., is using a Cummins HSK78G gas generator to power its facility in Wiluna- Western Australia, making it the first in the world to be installed in an industrial-mining environment.

The HSK78G generator offers an electrical efficiency of 44.2% within extreme environments. The generator’s ability to run efficiently at 45°C without de-rating, and generate 1,800 kWe even at 55°C, demonstrates its high ambient capability and suitability for this installation.
