Nearly all WWII movies have a "sniper" scene, the heroes are pinned down by an enemy sniper in a church tower or someone is suddenly killed by a long-range shot and his buddies exclaim "he was shot by a sniper! In this show we look at the likelihood of being shot by an actual "sniper".

This is a new type of show for the channel. Our historian will examine a popular claim made about the Second World War and either confirm or debunk it. There probably won't be time for questions from viewers but we hope the shorter length will be popular.
