Building a 41ft Boat!! Fuel Tanks, Wet Exhaust and Cockpit Fibreglassing, ***Episode 34***

Episode 34.

In this episode it is time to make a start on building the starboard side fuel tank framing below the pilot birth. Once the birth is framed out i can the get the 3D tank template made up so we can trial the installation through the narrow gap into the birth. Then i can deliver the template and give Uplands the go ahead to make the two new stainless steel fuel tanks.

Another pleasing job to get completed was to finish installing the wet exhaust.
Passing through the bulkhead into the aft end of the port side pilot birth i run the hose up to the custom goose neck Uplands beautifully made for the boat. From there it is time to drill the biggest hole in the boat yet.
This will be for the through hull for the exhaust outlet.

Finally it is time to get the cockpit fibreglassed!!


Another exiting step forward is to have Izzy join the team to help out with the editing of these videos. Really looking forward to seeing how progress will unfold now i can focus on the work whilst Izzy is producing the videos!
