How to change the connection in a light switch to make sure the electrical installation is future proofed when working at a ceiling rose and pendant. We look at the layout of a ceiling rose and its connections - loop, neutral and switching line. The connections in the light switch are for the 2 plate method of wiring a lighting point are explained as well as the new connection in the light. In this video we replace the standard 1 gang 1 way switch with one for Schneider Electric that has a loop terminal that means we a remove the Wago 221 connector and connect the neutral into the switch.
