Smith-Corona Electra 210 typewriter at work

Описание к видео Smith-Corona Electra 210 typewriter at work

Smith-Corona's premium electric portables in the 1960s were the Electras. The 110 and 120 Electras had a traditional carriage return lever at the left side of the machine; the 210 and 220 had a power carriage return. I seldom work on restoring the Electra 2xx series because I'm an old-school typist and the power return freaks me out a little bit. But I do have to admit that if you're in a typing speed contest, or if reaching up for the carriage return lever breaks your creative train of thought, the power return button does give you a fractional advantage.
