A brother in recovery encouraged him to start a podcast—and though he had doubts, Robert said yes. Today, he co-hosts the Hospie Chicken Feed podcast alongside fellow Warriors Heart alum Kyle Miller, sharing real, raw stories from veterans and first responders navigating recovery, trauma, and life after service.

Now working as an Admissions Advocate at Warriors Heart, Robert continues to serve—helping others find the healing he once thought was out of reach. One of his most powerful moments? Answering the hotline, only to realize the caller had found Warriors Heart through his podcast—and was now speaking directly to the voice that gave him hope.

Robert’s journey reminds us: We recover, and then we go back for the others.
