Simon Mayo was at the height of his career when the powers that be decided to mix up the format of his radio show Drivetime, which was when he decided to leave BBC Radio 2 and join the new classical radio station, Scala. He has also just returned from Australia where they are currently shooting the tv show adaption of his book series 'Itch'.
