The presenter is the caregiver to a now-adult transplant recipient. She has dedicated her professional life to identifying the best way to prepare patients and caregivers of pediatric transplant recipients for an optimal and healthy adulthood. She will share her experience as well as a wealth of research-based information. The STARX program at the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill, in collaboration with USA/international teams, has produced nearly 80 manuscripts with evidence in this field.
