Jump The Q are a function band providing professional entertainment for the North East, Yorkshire & North West of England as well as other areas within England and Scotland. We offer first class entertainment by professional musicians, and can be booked for Weddings (ceremonies, afternoon and evening receptions), Parties, Balls, Corporate events, Launches, Meet & Greet, Freshers & Graduation parties and other special occasions. We can cater for a number of musical tastes and can provide sets for pop, background/jazz, swing and ceilidh and can adapt to your particular needs -- from a solo saxophonist to a full five piece band. We provide a disco free of charge alongside the band.

A function band for all audiences
We can cater to any audience, young or old, and will tailor a package to suit your exact function band needs. We have a variety of set lists which we can play at your function, ranging from ceildh to pop music. With such a choice of music, rest assured your audience will not be disappointed and will be thoroughly entertained throughout your function.

Duo £425.00 These prices are for two sets of 45 mins -- 1hr each (any combination of jazz, swing or pop) and the disco (if required).

5 Piece £950.00 Price for one set of ceilidh (approx. 40 mins) including caller and one set (50-80mins each) or two shorter sets (25-40mins each) of any other style and the disco (if required). (5 piece for ceilidh only).

Duo £300.00 These prices are for up to two hours eg. Playing jazz/background music through a meal/drinks reception/wedding ceremony etc. Up to 6pm only on Friday, Saturday and Sunday unless booking the band during the evening in addition. Monday -- Friday any time.

There is no extra charge for the disco (disco provided within the times booked). There will be an extra charge of £100.00 per hour (£150.00 between 12am-1am & £200.00 after 1am) for each additional hour/part of hour for any band size (except solo saxophone where the charge will be £75.00 per hour for each additional hour/part of hour).


Tailor to your needs
Please note that we can tailor-make your own package to suit your own requirements, for example, a trio in the afternoon and a 4 piece in the evening. We cannot alter the songlists to individual requirements. The band will arrive to set up the equipment approximately one hour before the starting time. If you require the band to set up any earlier, a fee may be charged depending on the logistics.
