Braille Scale Build Off: Final Entry (2020)

We made it to the new year! Welcome to 2021! Here's a video I shot yesterday highlighting my two entries into the Braille Scale Build Off.

If you're a participant and you want your build photos included in the final slide show that I'm hoping to post this month, please send me your images via email (if you haven't already). My address is [email protected]

As a guideline, I think 4 pictures per build will suffice, just to keep the slideshow straight forward. Less than 4 is fine, and if you really want a 5th or 6th picture included, that shouldn't be a problem either.

Some of you have already expressed interest in a future braille scale group build! I think that's awesome! I am so thankful that I had so many people participating, especially across a few social media platforms.

As I've mentioned in the video, I've talked with Kenny of Hobby Link International (https://hobbylinkinternational.com/) and he's going to be hosting the 2021 Braille Scale Group Build on the HLI Community Forums (https://community.hobbylinkinternatio...) I will add a link to the actual Group Build thread once it is live.

A few people were hoping for some kind of Build Off group message or Discord server, and it just wasn't something I could set up and try and manage at the time. So going forward in 2021, I think having it hosted on the Forum with the HLI Community will allow all the participants to get together in one place and enjoy the build as a group.

Thanks again to everyone for participating, for using the #BrailleScaleBuildOff and #BSscalemodels hashtags across the platforms so I could try and keep up and follow along, and for sharing your hobby time with me in 2020. For those of you that only dove into the world of 1/72 scale and smaller because of this build- I think that's awesome! I really hope it was an enjoyable experience.
