This building is a music hall built in 1966 to celebrate the 60th birthday of Empress Kojun, the empress of Emperor Showa.
-Edo Castle Keep Base
Edo Castle Keep Base is located on the north side of Honmaru.
The original Edo Castle Keep Base was built in 1607, but Tokugawa Iemitsu renovated it and Edo Castle Keep Base was built at its current location in 1638.
The castle tower above Edo Castle Keep Base was never rebuilt, so only Edo Castle Keep Base remains.

The current Ninomaru Garden was restored based on the garden map from the Tokugawa Ieshige era.

Varicolored Carp with Long Fins can often be seen near the bridge over Ninomaru Pond.
The Varicolored Carp with Long Fins is a cross between the Indonesian carp and the Japanese carp.

Suwa Teahouse was located where the current Imperial Palace is located during the Edo period.
This building was rebuilt in 1902 and cannot be used as a tea room, so only the exterior can be viewed.

When the East Gardens of the Imperial Palace was opened to the public in 1963, trees donated from each prefecture were planted here.
-Tide Viewing Slope
Tide Viewing Slope is a slope that connects Honmaru and Ninomaru Garden, and is located on the north side of Shiratori Moat.
It is said that the name originates from the fact that the sea could be seen from this slope when Edo Castle was built.
