Day trip to Leavenworth, Washington

Leavenworth, Washington is set in the foothills of the Cascade Mountains and is a little over 2 hours drive from Seattle. The town offers up a little piece of Old-World Bavaria architecture and charm in the downtown core. You can spend a day exploring the cute downtown, partaking in wine-tasting, and sampling amazing German food, or make it an overnight or weekend getaway to explore even more of the area.
