Описание к видео Conversations with Dr Naomi Fisher on Self-Directed Learning and Neurodiversity

Dr Naomi Fisher is a clinical psychologist and author of Changing Our Minds, How Children Can Take Control of their Own Learning. She specialises in trauma, autism and alternatives to school. In this webinar, she will be looking at how neurodivergent children can thrive in an environment where they have more autonomy to direct their own learning, and talk about her clinical experience with children who have not thrived in the mainstream education system.
Her second book, A Different Way to Learn: Neurodiversity and Self-Directed Education (illustrated by Eliza Fricker), will be published by Jessica Kingsley Publishers on June 21st. It's a deep dive into what learning looks like in neurodivergent families when they don't do school.

She can be found on Facebook under Dr Naomi Fisher, and a collection of her writings are on Substack, at www.naomicfisher.substack.com.
