Hailing from Miami Florida, Larry McCormick aka Exzakt is a veteran producer and DJ that has been in the industry for almost 19 years strong. McCormick is a producer, website administrator (www.electroalliance.net), and label owner (Monotone USA). His brand of electro is old-school inspired by Cybotron and Kraftwerk. It minimally approximates the noise of machines whirring away, dominating our lives. Since moving from West Palm Beach, Florida to Frankfurt, Germany to work alongside enigmatic popkiller, Anthony Rother, EXZAKT has been touring across Europe, journeying from the British Isles to Croatia, spreading the message that electro is the sound of the future.
Recent highlights are his track Ride Low on Fabric 100, his official remix for Dave Clarke feat Anika - I'm Not Afraid on Skint Records, a full-length album "Intelectro" on the prestigious label Shipwrec and full-length album "Genesis" on Monotone.

Monotone is a very successful Electro based music label founded, operated and owned by Larry "Exzakt" McCormick. The label was founded in the year 2001 with the release of the Musik Is The Drug Remixes EP.
Until 2010, all Monotone releases were released via 12" records, but with the rapid decline of record sales, and with digital releases becoming more and more prevalent, the label was forced to convert over to the digital realm.
Monotone now has 40 releases to date and has featured artists such as Exzakt, Ghosts In The Machine, Hydrauilx, Dynamix II, Jackal & Hyde, Code Rising, Kounterakt, Anthony Nuzzo, EVO, Dynamik Bass System, and Boris Divider just to name a few.
This label will always continue to stay on the leading edge of the harder and edgier Electro and Miami Bass genre.
