I've never watched American Dad and this is one of my first games on the table on Pinball FX3, but I somehow got the achievement! The game itself is not much to write home about 😜 02:38 - Start of Deputy Director mode for the achievement (guide below).

Achievement Guide (Deputy Director mode) - Knock out Avery Bullock on the American Dad! Pinball table. (Single player only)

This trophy is easier if you can reduce your threat level (as indicated by the color of your ball). Hitting the ball through the threat level spinner multiple times will raise your threat level, while avoiding it and completing game modes will reduce it. Completing a few games modes will reduce your threat level to blue. For the sake of the trophy you’ll probably just want to start game modes then hold the ball until the mode is complete to reduce your threat level while not risking losing your ball. Once your threat level (and ball) is blue, you will be allotted more time to complete game modes and mission, albeit at the expense of a reduced score.

To start the necessary side mission, you need to hit the ball in the habitrail (steel frame ramp) three times to spell C-I-A. This will start a mini game where the two sinkholes below Bullock will light up. Each time you shoot one of these holes, Bullock will grab the ball and throw it back on the table. The throws can vary a bit so keep both flippers up and be ready for them. After four hits to Bullock he will be knocked out.

There was already a lot of repetition in sounds and modes starting up just in the bit I played so that didn't bode well for me enjoying the table in the long run. I'll probably see if I can get to the wizard mode and depending on the score I have then, I'll see if I can continue to a top 10 score, which is about 1 Billion.

One of the other deterrents for me on the table is the horrible viewing angles. I'm not happy with any of the views. It feels like you are a 10 year old playing the game considering the low angle that view 1 is. I so wish Zen will finally give us the ability to adjust the camera angles etc. to our liking for each table.

My basic aim with any tips and strategy gameplay video I post is to help the viewer improve his skill in the game and on the specific table. I do this by identifying the safest and most efficient strategy to follow to play through the modes and to reach and beat the wizard mode. This is admittedly not always the most efficient way to achieve a high score, but once you understand the table, including which shots and modes are worth it or not, it puts you in the position where you can concentrate on what you have identified as the best approach to reaching a high score.
