Here is a stunning Madonna 1984 “Like A Virgin” RARE limited edition first pressing Promotional Copy signed beautifully to the font cover in black felt tip pen. This is the rarest white vinyl edition with early upside down back cover. The album was signed on March 17th, 2015, while backstage at the Ellen Show at NBC Studios in Burbank, CA. Madonna graciously signed the album for the Jonathan Norman, former co-executive producer of the Ellen Show. Comes with a modern color reprint of Norman standing on set with Madonna and Ellen. Given her extreme reluctance as a signer, authentically signed Madonna album covers are very difficult to find! Indeed, the overwhelming majority of Madonna signed pieces are either secretarial or professional forgeries.

Like a Virgin defined Madonna as the seminal 1980s pop star, as she symbolically entered the culture war debates of the 1980s (sex, feminism, and career women) and helped change a generation of young girls into sexually expressive adults, and alerted woman to the dated ideologies of religion and gender norms. Like a Virgin became Madonna's first number one album on the Billboard 200, as well as the first female album to sell over five million copies in the United States. The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) later certified it diamond for shipment of ten million units. With sales of over 21 million copies worldwide, Like a Virgin remains one of the best-selling albums of all time. In 2023, Like a Virgin was selected for preservation in the United States' National Recording Registry by the Library of Congress due to it being considered "culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant".
