I think people sleep on the Canyon Trails because A) they're Traxxas, and B) the way they come on an RTR... they're not great. They're -sorta- okay at best.

All things considered, I count this mod as economical. Many folks will have everything they need to do this already on hand. Of all the brands, I really recommend the Hakko flush cutters. Sure, Knipex are amazing, but they cost more than a set of tires. If you snap the jaws on the Hakko one day, it's no biggie. I've broken 3 pairs of the Crescent cutters. If I broke a Knipex I would black out.
