A Belated Fast of the 9th of Av Special where we hear the story of Tisha B'av and explain what is Tisha Bav. We learn about the history and archaeology of the Bible and about Jewish History. This is the final episode in the section entitled "The fall of the house of David" it concerns the destruction of the First Jewish Temple, The Temple of Solomon and the destruction of Jerusalem in 586 or 587 BCE / BC. We discuss a little bit about the "forensics" of burning down Jerusalem and the hardships of the siege of Jerusalem in 586. As well as learning about the destruction of the First Temple we learn about the importance of a Temple in the ancient near east in the 6th century.
