My Dometic DMC4101 12VDC fridge (about 3.5 years old) stopped cooling properly. The fridge climbed to ~50°F and the freezer to ~29-30°F. The 5 snowflake cold level lights went out, and the middle one started flashing - some sort of fault mode.
Here’s what happened:
After restarting, it cooled overnight but soon warmed back up with flashing light
The freezer fan stopped running, though I could still hear the compressor
Manual troubleshooting didn’t match the symptoms
Online searches pointed to possible low voltage issues
Dometic doesn’t seem to make service parts available, which was frustrating

The fix in my case:
Replacing the fan motor solved the issue. The replacement motor wasn’t the exact same model, but I found a compatible/sealable one on Amazon, and it’s been working fine since.
I’m sharing this in case it helps someone else with the same problem. If you’re seeing the flashing light and loss of cooling, check your fan motor before giving up on the fridge.
