Oh hey, Celeste, that's a cool game. I've recently collected 200 out of the 202 strawberries in the game on Switch, including 24 out of 26 Golden Strawberries, and decided to try out some mods finally on pc. One of the mods I've downloaded through Everest was the Extended Variants tool which allows you to modify the gameplay and visuals and all wacky ways. One of the options allows you to add Badelines, Oshiros, Badeline Bosses, Searchers, Jellyfish, and lastly, Theo Crystals. I was most interested in the last option of the Theo Crystals as you only see them in the last checkpoint of 5A & 5B. What this setting does is you cannot proceed to the next room without holding Theo. Theo makes you jump slower and unable to dash. You'd think that bringing Theo in 1A, the easiest chapter, would be a cakewalk, but surprisingly, some rooms are genuinely difficult (1st room of 2nd cp, 3rd to last room of 2nd cp, last room of 2nd cp, and final room in 3rd cp, etc). Since it's possible to beat 1A with Theo, I came up with the dumb idea to get the 1A golden with Theo the entire time. Took me a few hours, but here we are!
