This nine-mile linear walk through Buckinghamshire weaves together moments of challenge, discovery, and quiet beauty.

Beginning at Coldharbour Farm in Coleshill, my journey immediately presents a test of perseverance, as Trig Point S4462 remains elusive behind a dense hedge, an exercise in patience rather than victory.

From here, the path descends Gore Hill into Old Amersham, before skirting the reflective waters of Shardeloes Lake. The South Bucks Way then guides the way to Little Missenden, a village cradled in the gentle folds of the countryside. Beyond its fields, my route unfolds towards Little Kingshill and into woodland, where the rhythm of the walk shifts to one of quiet contemplation. Emerging at Atkins Farm, the presence of Trig Point S4507 at 194 metres marks a tangible waypoint, standing firm against the ever-changing landscape.

The final stretch carries me through rolling fields and wooded corridors, leading to Great Missenden Train Station, where the journey, woven with missed markers, scenic delights, and the steadfast pulse of the countryside draws to its quiet conclusion.

This was filmed in 4K on a GoPro Hero 11 and a DJI Mini 3 Drone, on a grey morning in April 2024.
