There Were TOO MANY Eggs

The longer days mean the chickens are laying really well. Which is great! Until you're drowning in eggs...

Pound Cake Recipe:
2 Cups sugar
1 Cup butter
5 Eggs
1 tsp vanilla
Cream together in large bowl.
Mix together in separate bowl:
3 Cups flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
Gradually add flour mixture to butter mixture, alternating with 1 cup milk.
Pour into greased and floured 9x5 inch pans. Bake for 1 hour at 350*.
