Fit's like a glove, all the cutouts are just right, plenty of options to attach the GoPro mount and coldshoe (hotshoe). The GoPro mount can be attached to the top or bottom and the coldshoe can be mounted in two spots on top, one on the side and one on the bottom. All the coldshoe mounts will also accept a standard 3/8" tripod mount as well.

This is one HEAVY housing, weighs in at 4.8oz (4.4oz without the coldshoe). The GoPro Hero 4 Silver weighs in at 2.9oz alone and 5.2oz with the standard housing. The total weight with this housing is 7.7oz. This may not be the best option for drone usage (unless you have a very beefy drone).

This housing is insanely tough though, going to provide heaps of protection and there's no way it will crack like the plastic housing can. I do wish it had a plastic window on the back cover though (it's just a bezel protector). I may try to modify mine to provide additional protection for the LCD screen. I'll post pictures if I do.

You'll need to be CAREFUL when tightening the set screw on the side. Don't over tighten it or you'll cause damage to the GoPro. Check the video to see how it works exactly.

All-in-all I LOVE this housing. Machined VERY well - everything fits perfectly, cutouts are exact and it's insanely tough. Looks very cool too!
