You can also add vegetables and make it in the form of pulao or can serve the rice with curry.

Vegan Caramalized Onion Rice Recipe

Ingredients:
2 tablespoons - Oil
2 Cups - Onions
2 Cups - Rice
Salt to taste
1 1/2 Teaspoons - Cayenne Pepper
3 Cups - Water

Here's a recipe for vegan caramelized onion rice recipe:
1. Heat oil in a large saucepan over medium heat.
2. Add the sliced onions and stir occasionally until they are caramelized and soft, about 10-15 minutes.
3. Add the rice to the saucepan and stir to coat the grains in the oil and caramelized onions.
4. Add salt and cayenne pepper to taste, then add the water.
5. Stir the ingredients, bring to a boil, reduce the heat to low, and cover the saucepan with a lid.
6. Cook the rice until the water is absorbed and the rice is tender, about 18-20 minutes.
7. Once done, remove the saucepan from heat and let it sit, covered, for 5 minutes.
8. Fluff the rice with a fork, and serve.
