In this episode, Tom shows us a US Air Force S&W M13 survival revolver. The theory was that these guns were issued to pilots and crewmen so that they could survive and forage for food when they were shot down. This aluminum frame and cylinder design did not work out well and they were mostly destroyed - very few survived. So I guess we can call this particular gun a survival SURVIVAL gun!
